Grilled Green Beans

This is a great way to cook fresh green beans.

What you’ll need:

  • 1/2 lb fresh green beans, rinsed and trimmed of stems
  • 1/2 small sweet onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Aluminum foil

What to do:

  1. Preheat charcoal grill to hot/medium hot.
  2. Coarse chop onion
  3. On a piece of foil, spread out onions and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Lay green beans over onions and sprinkle with salt
  5. Using a second piece of aluminum foil, cover the greens beans and onions, and seal edges, forming a packet.
  6. Place onion side down to the side of the hot coals. Turn over about every 5 minutes till done–about 15-20 minutes tops.
  7. Remove from grill and serve immediately.
